Our Mission
We strengthen communities in Africa by providing essential resources and opportunities to support healthier lives, fostering a more balanced, equitable society where everyone can increase confidence, autonomy and well-being.
Outcomes we aim to achieve
Demonstrated Impact
Women's Wellness Program
Globally women experience more negative health outcomes compared to men despite longer lifespan. 25% of women die from cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, with African women 50% more likely to have maternal conditions and nutrient deficiencies. Community wellness, improves health indicators, mental health, sense of connection to others and overall well-being.
This weekly program for women consists of education on diet, exercise, stress management, and mindset. It serves as a small solution to close the gap in health education, resource access and empowerment of the local community. Upon completion, women experience benefits such as weight loss, increased confidence, healthier diets, proactive stress management, and more. 30+ women have benefitted from the program.
Njabulo Boxes
In rural areas resources are prioritized based on the real, practical need to survive; plain and simple. Providing these basic items to a family is the sole purpose of an Njabulo box. Njabulo means joy or happiness in Ndebele, a local language spoken in Zimbabwe. So each box intends to bring a little joy to a family so they can focus on something other than survival.
An Njabulo box contains basic food staples commonly consumed by people in southern Africa, with a box supporting a family of 4 for up to 3-4 weeks. Just as one village family expressed joy and gratitude with a small token of appreciation, extending this feeling to as many families as possible is the goal. One box at a time. 58 families have received Njabulo boxes.
Menstrual Kits
Thousands of girls in rural African communities miss school daily due to their monthly periods. Many lack proper menstrual hygiene supplies, preventing school attendance and a normal life. Women often walk distances for water to cook, bathe, and wash causing great discomfort due to societal pressures. We partner with a Pathways Women Empowerment Network, a Victoria Falls organization, who produces and distributes reusable menstrual kits to young girls and women.
Our efforts sponsor kits for young girls to receive kits, attend school, and improve their well-being. Each kit contains: 2 reusable menstrual pads, replacement cloths, care instructions, 2 underwear, washcloth, and soap. With proper care, kits can last up to 3yrs. We've sponsored 35 kits for young girls.
Children's Coloring Books
As a child did you have coloring books with pages of landscapes, animals, and figures to spark your imagination and let your creativity thrive? Or boxes of crayons where you picked the perfect color of green to fill in your favorite page? Coloring was an escape but it was a good time. But did you think of this time and your coloring books as a luxury? A harsh reality is that not all kids have the opportunity for this creative outlet and potential learning experience.
This is the case in rural Africa. Not all kids go to school due to finances and schools have limited resources which leaves supplies and textbooks lacking. The creative escape most of us get and consider normal is a distant dream for many of these kids. That is why this African animals coloring book was created! It allows for the opportunity to play and learn. 39 children have received coloring books and crayons.

Community Development Projects
We are actively seeking support for 2 community development initiatives in addition to smaller projects. Both initiatives support the livelihood of families and the ability of children to realize their full potential.
Lubangwe Village #3
*PRIORITY* Building a Bridge: Materials to build a bridge over a river bed that connects the village to the secondary road. All community members use this to pass, and the river bed fills during the rainy season making it dangerous for kids getting to/from school
Community garden: Materials for a fence to put around the community garden (and secure from animals), which serves as a food and income source for residents.
Borehole (water source): Building an additional borehole for residents to offset the the demand of the garden. Current water supply doesn't meet the need of residents and the garden.
Menstrual kits: Reusable menstrual kits for the young girls and women in the village so they have supplies for their monthly period
Njabulo boxes: Food boxes to support residents that are not able to supply enough food to eat on a regular basis
Simbala Secondary School
*PRIORITY* School fees: Paying school fees for identified students so they are able to attend classes for the term. All school age children are not able to attend each term due to financial issues.
School supplies: Providing school supplies (paper, notebooks, pencils, pens, markers etc) for students at school so they have ample resources for their learning. Students are not able to complete the term due to lack of supplies.
School uniforms: Providing financial support to families who are unable to pay for school uniform fees, which are needed to attend school. Some students have no or old uniforms, which can prevent attendance.
Teacher support: Supplying teachers with resources to aid their lessons and ability to provide students with quality education (laptops, lamps/solar panels, white boards with markers).

Community Wellness Program
We are accepting donations to run another 4-week version of the program with a group of women in Victoria Falls this December. Hear participant experiences from the last cohort of the 4-week women's community wellness program. Our ladies received education on health and wellness, with results that were life changing.

About Together for Tomorrow Inc.
In 2001, during a conversation at a dinner event, a general from the South African Defense Force told our founder, “You’re going to see things on your drive to Swaziland that you may not understand. Think about what you can do to help.” At the time, she was simply sharing excitement for an upcoming road trip, but his words stayed with her. He was right and she had no idea what was to come. That journey—and many subsequent trips to South Africa and other surrounding countries—opened her eyes to challenges she didn’t fully understand but desperately wanted to change.
Over the years, she continued to visit friends in the region, collecting stories, experiences, and ideas. Meanwhile, she pursued education and training in various fields—seemingly unrelated at the time, but they eventually came together to form the foundation of what would become her passion project.
Fast forward to January 2023, when she had the opportunity to visit a rural community in Binga, Zimbabwe. As a gesture of gratitude to the family hosting her, she went to the local market to purchase a few essential staples, totaling about $10. When we returned, she handed the bag to the mother and said, “This is for you, to thank you for your kindness and hospitality.” Her reaction was unforgettable—pure joy. She shared the bag with her family, and their response was just as heartfelt. In that moment, she knew she had found a meaningful way to give back.
By December 2024, she was determined to take this idea further. She decided to launch a small fundraiser to see if she could spread that same joy to more families in need during the holiday season. She gathered information, reached out to as many people as possible, and by January 2025, the impact was greater than she could have imagined: 58 families fed, 39 children received coloring books, 35 girls with menstrual kits and 20 women received wellness education. An initial impact was made, but the work was just beginning.
Recognizing the ongoing need for consistent support, she officially founded Together for Tomorrow Inc. in March 2025.
